Illustration of the Sydney Opera House

This project came about in a short period of time. A couple of magicians needed 21 illustrations for a card trick they had developed. It had to be done in a minimum amount of time, but according to very specific instructions. After a few attempts I found a working process that was efficient enough to get the job done.

At the beginning I didn’t get much information about how the illustrations were going to be used, which proved  more difficult than anticipated. After some iterations of the cards I at least got some insight into the trick, and everything went smoothly afterwards.

This is a classic design insight. As a designer you do a lot better job if you know how your audience is going to approach your work.
